Spotify is just begging me to unsubscribe. I don’t even what these stupid pop ups that started occurring this week are all about. I just want to play some damn music.

I’ve been wanting to do one of those Ancestry DNA tests for years but privacy concerns have always got in the way. I’m starting to think I may be over concerned and as long as I don’t plan on killing anyone I’ll probably be alright.

Well, it took me almost the entire day but I’ve mostly caught up on the work I missed the last two days. Hoping for a more laid back week.

I have no idea what I just watched during the trailer for Megalopolis but I’ll be happy to fast forward through it all once it streams someplace. 😆

I still have another day off but man today felt like a Sunday. Bad vibes and all. Hoping I can stay up late and get my mojo back.

On a massive sword and sorcery kick today. Watched the original Conan the Barbarian for the 1st time since I was a kid. Then followed it up with the underrated and great Solomon Kane flick.

Finally beat the Mad Max video game. What a fanatic ride that was.

Starting this four day weekend off with a massive decluttering. If it ain’t bolted down and hasn’t been touched in six months it’s gone.

54 more minutes and my four day weekend begins!

Holy crap X-Men 97

Having one of those Sundays where nothing sounds good to do/eat. I want to be motivated but I also don’t.

Watching Kingdom of Heaven Directors Cut. I’ve never seen either version before but this is pretty damn good thus far.

Finally finished Fallout. That show has no business being that good. Now I’m just fighting the urge to go back into the Wasteland.

This is the first year in forever that I’ve bought new sports games. I picked up NHL 24 and FC 24, both at a steep discount (under $20) but then NHL got added to Gamepass like a week later and now FC 24 is coming to PlayStation for free. Ughh…. Never again EA. I don’t even follow sports that much.

It’s a very slow workday today. It’s given me some time to get some blogs in the bank but man am I ready for 4 PM.

The cat woke me up at 5:30 this morning. I have a rule, if I get up early I always make myself eggs and bacon. It beats the heck out of my normal bagel and helps me prepare for a day with less sleep!

I decided to replace the Roku on my bedroom tv with an Apple TV like we have in the living room. I’ve never ordered anything directly from Apple before but so far this has been super smooth. One day shipping, easy ordering, I’m impressed.

My great-grandmother hand wrote a recipe book for each of her grandchildren.

I’m now in possession of one of them and I’m digitizing it by typing it all out on a new blog

I’d be really happy to never see another SSL renewal email from Namecheap.

After two nights of fussin with the Retroid Pocket 2+ I’m finally doing some gaming. This was a more difficult undertaking than I imagined.

Listening to the Empire Records soundtrack today.

I can’t find my wallet this morning and I’m not freaking out. Maybe all this meditation is paying off?! 🤷

Ordered a Retroid Pocket 2S tonight on a whim. After playing around with Delta on my iPhone I just felt compelled to do some pocket sized retro gaming

Keeping with my 90s comfort movies weekend, I gave Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion a watch as well tonight.

I’ve ordered some Pizza Hut and gonna show my wife Airheads for the first time. It’s shaping up to be a good Saturday.
